  1. And a good time was had by all! What a joyous get-together. I was joined by the very talented Paul Franklin in a performance of the hymn Green Pastures, read a brief chapter from Sweet Music on Moonlight Ridge, and then just enjoyed talking with the audience. We discussed possums; seems like everyone had a possum story to tell. Then we talked about the Drunkard's Path quilt that my sister Joanne has helped me create: a replica of Lily Claire's red calico heirloom made by her Granny Rilla. Then inevitably the conversation ended up on the ghastly and terrifying wolfeener, a favorite subject of Joan Dawson's! It was an altogether enjoyable afternoon!
Sincere thanks to the ladies of Springville Road Library for the delicious refreshments and all the work they did to make my visit such a delight.
